OpticsPlanet, Inc. is seeking an experienced Graphics Designer to join our creative team. You will be responsible for conceptualization, prototyping and implementation of various graphics design works and ensuring brand consistency across all communication media.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support marketing and web development teams as well as other internal customers with creative solutions
- Maintain, update, and refine brand and style guidelines
- Ensure brand consistency across all communication media
- Conceptualize, prototype, and create graphics for projects of various size and complexity from simple flyers and email newsletters to new online stores and large multimedia marketing campaigns
- Must submit a link to a strong online portfolio featuring web and print design
- Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Deep understanding of web and print standards and processes
- Deep understanding of modern communication media, social networking, and search engine marketing
- Brand management experience
- BS or BFA in a design related field
- Ability to handle the pressure and fluidity of a fast paced environment
- Ability to multitask, juggle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to present and "sell" your solutions
- User interface design experience
- Knowledge of Flash, HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus
- Active in design community
