Teaching Artists - Multiple Disciplines
The Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University is currently accepting resumes and work samples from teaching artists in the following disciplines: music, theater, dance, and visual arts. The exciting new undertaking is in the developmental stage at this point, but we anticipate finalizing funding very soon. Interviews and subsequent hiring will commence shortly after funding is secured.
Skills & Qualifications: We are looking for teaching artists with significant artistic and educational achievements. Experience working with diverse groups of individuals and organizing of complex projects is required. Excellent interpersonal skills, conceptual thinking ability, flexibility and strong communication skills are essential. Enthusiasm for reflective inquiry and mentorship is vital. Experience in building meaningful and lasting relationships with teachers, schools, communities, and organization is very important. Strong administrative skills are required including maintaining budget expenditures, organizing related documents, artifacts, and artwork.
