Come teach how to paint for colorsandbottles.com! An art party organization that hosts events and private parties! Organization is launching within next 2 weeks. Make easy money teaching 10-15 people how to paint!

Each event is 3 hours long and each event will be held at different locations in the north chicagoland area(e.g. bars, art gallery, wine cellars, restaurants).

Requirements:
Acrylic Painting Skills
Must have a completed painting (large size, apx 16"-24") that you are able to teach students how to paint in 3 hours.
Must email image of painting and experience before hired.

Graphic Design Intern

Overview

Creative, flexible and versatile Graphic Design intern needed to join our tech incubation team at Sandbox Industries in Chicago, IL. This is a great opportunity to work with a fun team on a variety of startups and projects, and to gain experience with all things design.
You'll work with our fun team of designers, developers, writers, social media specialists and businesspeople at our offices in the West Loop of Chicago. You can work either part-time or full-time.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the design team and project managers to create marketing & sales presentations, collateral, illustrations, logos, icons and other graphics for web and print.
- Ensure creative alignment with branding and marketing strategies through design.
- Manage your very own projects from start to finish (includes brainstorming concepts and approaching projects with zeal)!

ABOUT YOU
- You’re currently in your last few years (or year) of school.
- Your middle name is typography.
- You're an amazing designer, who is able to adjust your style for different audiences--everything from dog-loving 30-somethings to ad agency executives.
- You know the differences between Arial and Helvetica.
- You’ve never underestimated the power of great kerning.
- You’re a self-starter who can work in a relatively unstructured environment.
- You notice when the alignment of something is one pixel off.
- Oh, and you know CS5 InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator (Powerpoint is a plus!)

Call for Artists: Mischief Night at the Hyde Park Art Center

We’re baaaaaack! Once again, it’s time to make a little mischief at the Hyde Park Art Center’s Mischief Night on October 29, 2011 from 1-10pm. Last year’s event brought over 500 people to the Art Center, and we’re looking to make this year even better with more tricks, pranks and tom-foolery.  

We’re asking artists to submit proposals for workshops, performances, games, pranks and events that tie in to our theme of artist-made mischief. We’re looking for proposals that are creative and as interactive as possible. The Art Center can provide the space and some of the materials, depending on what is needed.

- Re-design client-facing PowerPoint capabilities deck from inception, with some direction
- Interpret sales concepts using arresting visual representation
- Conceive of and create sales messaging strategy: tell the story

JSC seeks an individual with strong arts administration skills to provide part-time marketing, research, archiving, and general office support. Photographer

Elopement wedding service company is looking to create a relationship with 2-3 photographers to hire for event days.  The photographer would be paid by the hour with a minimum of 4 hours and possibility of up to 10 hours.  You would need to provide digital access to the pictures online and therefore need to already possess an online photo bank account for clients to access.
