Artist Wanted: Logo and graphic design for promotion of a new special event Like Bike Ride and Celebration in Wicker Park, Bucktown and Logan Square.
First Annual Like Bike Ride and Celebration will celebrate pedal power pride on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011, with a ride up Milwaukee Ave. from Wicker Park thru Bucktown ending by the Logan Square Monument . This is a recreation and informative event for cyclists of all ages and levels. The First Annual Like Bike Ride and Celebration is an opportunity for engaging, sharing and educating about bike safety and mechanics, food and body health and the arts.
The Like Bike Ride and Celebration is a family oriented recreation event:
• to share the joy of cycling
• to engage local merchants, institutions, arts and culture in sustainable neighborhood activities
• to celebrate the unique character and history of three neighborhoods • to share artistic talents in a bike   parade.
Deliverables: Logo Design and Style Sheet Components:
• Style sheet components including typeface;
• Colors: Should look good in b/w and 2/4 color;
• Images: bicycles. . ..Unicycle/tricycle/bicycle (shows breadth of skill and age) family, urban setting that reflect the joy of cycling;
• Applications: banners, mobile web app, T-shirt, Facebook, Twitter, posters printed/digital media;
• Audience: families, cyclists of all ages, artists, local merchants, community organizations, institutions, governmental agencies.
